Presidental Election in USA

I figured out that Barack Obama is sponsored by University of California, Harvard University, Goldman sachs, Microsoft corp and Gogle inc. while John McCain is sponsored by merill Lynch, Citigroup inc, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase & Co. They have also recived donations from citizens. I think they almost spend to much money on their campains, but I guess they have to if they want it to be good. I honestly Don't Understand everything that happens in the election, but that's just my point of view.
